Perhaps you're navigating loss, relationship challenges, a career transition, or simply feeling down or stuck. Life’s twists and turns can be overwhelming, and you don’t have to face them alone. Working with a counsellor can offer space, support, and perspective during difficult times. I provide counselling for adults in Geneva and online, creating a calm, compassionate environment where you can reflect, heal, and grow.

If you are a school leader seeking to improve the wellbeing of students and staff, or to engage families in meaningful conversations about mental health, I can help. The wellbeing of the whole school community has a direct impact on student outcomes and is increasingly recognised as a key priority in education. I support schools internationally to embed a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing through consultancy, training, and workshops.

About Me

Helping you find calm, clarity and connection, one conversation at a time

I’m Emily Crucerey, a British-born psychosocial counsellor based in Geneva and online. I work with adults navigating the twists and turns of life - whether that’s anxiety about the future, challenges in parenting, relationship strain, or career crossroads. I offer sessions in both English and French, supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

My path into counselling has been shaped by personal and professional experiences. Before retraining, I worked as a teacher for almost two decades, and I’m also a parent and expat. These roles helped me understand the pressures that many of us carry - the juggling, the questioning, the emotional load - and inspired me to step into a new chapter focused on supporting others.

I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can slow down, explore what’s on your mind, and reconnect with what really matters to you. My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. I believe that growth happens when we feel seen, heard, and understood.

Whether you’re navigating change, looking to understand yourself better, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

My Qualifications

I have a BSc in Social Psychology and MA in Counselling, and before training to be a counsellor, I was a Primary School teacher in the UK and in Switzerland. I complete regular training and supervision to stay up-to-date with recent evidence-based approaches and add to my repertoire of counselling skills and knowledge. I am a member of the Swiss Association for Counselling (SGfB) and adhere to their ethics code.
