Meet Emily

Helping you find calm, clarity and connection, one conversation at a time

I’m Emily Crucerey, a British-born counsellor, supporting individuals, with a focus on international parents in Switzerland and online. I work with adults navigating the twists and turns of life - whether that’s anxiety about the future, challenges in parenting, relationship strain, or career crossroads. I offer sessions in both English and French, supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

My path into counselling has been shaped by my personal and professional experiences. Before retraining as a counsellor, I worked as a teacher for nearly two decades, and I’m also a parent and immigrant. These roles helped me understand the pressures that many of us carry - the juggling, the questioning, the emotional load - and inspired me to step into a new chapter focused on supporting others, particularly parents.

I will welcome you into my calm, welcoming office space in Geneva or Nyon, or we can meet online or outside at an agreed location around Geneva for a Walk and Talk session. There you can slow down, take time to explore what’s on your mind, and reconnect with what really matters to you. My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration because growth happens when we feel seen, heard, and understood.

My Qualifications

I have a BSc in Social Psychology and MA in Counselling, and before becoming a counsellor, I was a Primary School teacher in the UK and in Switzerland. I complete regular training and supervision to stay up-to-date with recent evidence-based approaches and further develop my counselling skills and knowledge. I am a member of the Swiss Association for Counselling (SGfB) a registered member of the BACP, and adhere to their ethics frameworks.
